Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3

Cannot 'SEND' text messages.

Replaced my SIM about four weeks ago, as the old one had become faulty. Initially, the functions were fine; except I'd not yet activated MMS, (using my laptop, I've been going online to access any pictures/videos received.) On activating GPRS - thinking it would open up my mobiles MMS facility - somehow, I seem to have deactivated outgoing SMS's; whatsmore, I still don't have MMS. When I 'SEND,' I'm informed 'UNABLE TO SEND, IN OUTBOX TO TRY AGAIN LATER;' where, it lingers for a lengthy duration, indicating 'SENDING IN PROGRESS,' (though, it most certainly is not) before changing to 'SENDING FAILED, STATUS: 254.' I have attempted to correct the situation online, via my carrier, (Optus) by activating WAP ...... I'm forwarded two text-messages, informing me that:

  1. In the following text, I'm to receive 'HANDSET SETTINGS FOR DATA SERVICE(S);' which, I'm to 'SAVE and/or ACTIVATE;' however, when that text,
  2. (a browser message then arrives) indicating that I require an 'UPDATE!'
WHAT NOW - CAN YOU ASSIST - PLEASE???

As i think the MESSAGE CENTER NUMBER you must change by asking your network operator ...
1. call to customer care of ur network operator
2. ask for the message center number..
3. store it in it by going to message settings and message center number ..
then try your sms will start going..................

Doogee voyager dg300 will not send pictures, how can I fix?


  • sorry for the delay,phone would not access,work and snow all week.
No the dg300 will not send any pictures through messaging.if i add text with the picture nothing goes through still,says transmission unsuccesfull. just text works fine,internet works fine .i have also tried several differnt messaging apps and they all do the same thing.i have 2 of these phones brand new same setup and net10 account unlimited talk text and data,both new sim cards doing the same thing

My nokia 6790 wont send text messages what do i do


my phone has had this problem 5 times since i got it a year ago.. it would do everything except send texts, so i kept sending it to get fixed. i just got it back about a week ago after they finally "REPLACED" it, and its not sending texts again, BUT they'll send if the text is in a MMS format (multimedia)... i think your best bet is to chuck the phone and get a different one.

Everything works ok except i have a limited service/ no service message on the screen - if i try to ring or text i get network error and emergency calls only.all was ok until about a week ago


U dnt hav 2 worry.Just switch off ur phone,remove ur sim card and replace it back,then switch on d phone.If it stil shows d same message,contact ur network service provider.

Cant send text message,but i can receive text messages,i try to put my sim on other phone and i figure out that the problem is on my phone because i can send text message using other phone.what should i do...


It's very possible that your problem is with the SIM card. Many phones will not accept a SIM card after it has been used in another phone. Or, some functions like text messaging or Internet service will not work.

The only other solution is that your phone is not correctly configured to your Cellular service provider's frequencies for messaging. You can contact your Cellular Service Provider and ask for Tech Support. They can walk you through making sure your phone is correctly configured.

I have just bought a nokia 2330 classic and put my old sim card in it..it works fine except that i cannot send texts but can receive them.do you know why this is?


it may be a problem of the msg. center number!! check it and then try and restore your phone to factory settings this might solve your problem!!

Week old phone has stopped sending texts!!


Take the sim and memory card out of the phone, then type in *#7370# and then it will say restore factory settings, say yes, then it will ask for a lock code, this is 12345 - the phone will reset and then you will be able to send messages again.

!!*Make sure you back up all of your contacts and pictures etc onto your memory or sim card otherwise it will get erased*!!

SMS sending error!


if its a new phone / sim then you might need sms / wap settings sent from your service provider to set the sms message centre number in your phone etc.

Alternatively some SP's require you to call them and register a payg phone to enable full functionality, call your customer service line and explain, they will fix it right away.

check your settings do to this error.The sending out messaging is probably set on off.
