Question about HP LaserJet 5p Printer
I DO ENVELOPES ON MY HP LASERJET 5. WHILE BEING PROCESSED THROUGH THE US POSTAL SERVICE, MUCH OF THE PRINT IS RUBBED OFF.
When printing envelopes ensure you set paper/media type to Envelopes, and feed via tray 1/bypass . Paper type setting sets correct fuser temp, the fuser is the hot bit at the rear that "melts" the image into the paper.
If paper type is set correctly then I recommend you change the fuser unit.
Ensure envelopes are standard type. ie you are printing on paper envelopes
