i put my sim in the nokia ngage and i know the card is good but it still doesnt read the card, is there a sim card that will trick the phone into just playing the games, a temp solution for now??????? i saw it ion ebay but cant find it now.... help.......

- I have an Alcatel 0T-C280A slider cell phone. I have Cingular and I cannot get on the WAP. When I called my cingualar they said it could be the phone because it is unlock cell phone. They said, the settings on the cell phone my not match the their settings. How can I find out the correct setting for my phone so I can get on WAP?Thank you for your help!

I think your Ngages's SIM Port is experiencing loose contacts. U can try adding a few sheets of paper on the backside of ur sim card(the side without terminals) and then insert it to see if it works. For your second question, you can try installing "Psiloc System tools" for Symbian Series 60 V2 on your fone and then enter in flight mode without a SIM card. But I have heard that the same may or may not work on a NGage. It works on a Nokia 6600 and I have done that. Best of Luck.

check putting sim card into other phone..
i think in ur nguage the sim port has not fitted properly ... i think somebody opened the set before while refitting the things he didnt fitted the simport correctly .. sim port is in mis contact .. if you r good at opening set then it s a simple pronlem u only can fix it... just abpve the sim port the circuit board is not in contact with that so just opened it & refit it..
otherwise if u r afraid then visit technician...
