1394 Fire Wire

The 1394 Fire wire port no longer works. No picture no sound and the computer does not recognizes it.
I have the same problem.
This Problem has been added to the Share Your Expertise Page under "My Work Queue".

I change my PC to new windows vista and the new PC don't recognize any VCR throw firewire, but the machine recognize my canon LG-2 by firewire. I need something special like a special driver to run my JVC's BR-DV3000 & BR-HD50 for capture video
in vegas pro 8.0?

I have connect my SD-V394 Toshiba DVD/VCR combo to my Sony...

JVC BR-DV3000U DV/Mini DV VCR
When I plug in the dc plug the fan starts for second then...

When I insert a mini dv tape into the 3000, it plays it...

JVC BR-DV3000U DV/Mini DV VCR
I was logging some unmarked miniDV tapes, and one of them...
