Download and install this:

Description of the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility

Run it and select anything Nero and remove it.
Go to Start>Run>Services.msc and stop any services that belong to Nero. Set the startup type to Disabled.
Reboot.
Delete the Nero folders in Program Files.
Go into the registry and check for Nero and/or Ahead entries and delete them. I suspect you'll find some in the Run or Runex keys as well as under Services.

Reboot.

You should be good to go.

If you're timid about the Registry then backup the keys you are deleting by right-selecting the parent key and going to Export. Save the key to a reg file.

Hi ,I have HP Pav DV6 with windows 7.But I want to install windows server 2003 & its not allowing me.I want to make it dual boot,Plzz help.I need to do it urgently...

Hi,
Please understand that Windows 7 uses different startup files and procedures so it is expected that the original Windows Windows 7 system cannot be booted if you install a new dual boot Windows Server 2003 system. If you would like to install Windows Server 2003 on another partition, please do that first. After that, Windows Server 2003 will boot but WIndows 7 not. However, we can try the following method to make Windows Vista work again: Insert the Windows 7 disk into DVD-ROM. Click Start, click Accessories, right-click the command-prompt shortcut, and then click Run as Administrator. Type the following command at a command prompt and press Enter: Drive:\boot\Bootsect.exe /NT60 All In this command, Drive is the drive where the Windows 7 installation media is located. Note The boot folder for this step is on the DVD drive. 4. type the following commands at a command prompt and press Enter. Note In the commands below, Drive is the drive where Windows 7 is installed. Drive:\Windows\system32\Bcdedit /create {ntldr} /d "Windows Server 2003" Drive:\Windows\system32\Bcdedit /set {ntldr} device partition=x: (Note: x: is the drive letter for the active partition. For example, if 2003 is installed on C drive, device partition=c: ) Drive:\Windows\system32\Bcdedit /set {ntldr} path \ntldr Drive:\Windows\system32\Bcdedit /displayorder {ntldr} /addlast
5. Restart the computer.

When starting PC, appearing message "please wait while windows configures nero 7 ultra edition"

The most probable cause is that you have not properly installed or uninstalled Nero 7 Ultra Edition in your PC. Try properly installing or uninstalling the product again.

Try to download Windows Vista Service Pack 2 KB9848465 and received this error code 800F0A0A. Thanks for any help...

Hi,

Workaround
To work around this issue, uninstall the August 2009 Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 Application Compatibility Update, and then install Service Pack 2 for Windows Server 2008 and Windows Vista. To uninstall the August 2009 Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 Application Compatibility Update, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Click Uninstall a program under the Programs section.
  3. In the Tasks list in the left navigation area, click View installed updates.
  4. Click Update for Microsoft Windows (KB972036), and then click Uninstall.
  5. Click Yes when you are prompted to confirm the uninstallation.

Note If you are prompted for confirmation or for the administrator password, click Yes to confirm, or type the administrator password.
  6. Restart the system when you are prompted.

If this helped you then please help me and vote kindly, thank you.

Pxe boot

The problem isn't that these systems stay in active directory, its that the record of their approval stays in WDS. My guess is that when WDS fails to find the computer in AD it fails.

The solution was to remove the approvals from WDS using wdsutil.
WDSUTIL /Delete-AutoAddDevices /DeviceType:ApprovedDevices

I ran the above command and the PXE process worked.

I hope this helps someone else.
