Question about Panasonic Toughbook 48 Notebook
Does any one know what might be the problem laptop no longer will turn on by opening, then when I hit the on switch (mp) light will turn on then the other 5 lights will flash once, one after the other, from right to left in a snap second (mp) light comes back on and stays on. HD won't start up, screen won't turn on and batt. won't charge up, but light stays on (red-orange). tested power supply @ 15+V.
Looks like this is a Toughbook shell problem. The hard drive worked in another CF-18. I beleive this is an internal power problem. I hope it's under warranty : }

Sounds like a capacitor issue with the boards secondary supply side to me, recommend you dis assymble and check capacitors with low esr meter to determine which way to start trouble shooting power delivery issue. Obviously your getting power to the plug but have you LOAD tested the power supply? Try another one to see?
