If your phone won't charge via your computer using a USB cable or via your pickup via a car charger, will it charger via the regular travel charger (i.e., plugged into the wall)? If it won't charge that way either, then the issue is with the connection or with the battery. If you replace the battery and it still doesn't charge, then the problem is with the connection. If this is the issue, then I would suggest replacing your phone, especially if it is 2 years or older. If it is a new phone and under 12 months old, then I would suggest getting a warranty replacement from your provider. If it is older, and you don't want to replace it, then try gettin a new battery, however, if it still doesn't charge, then like I said previously, it is the connection and it would be less expensive to replace the phone then to repair the connection. Hope this helps and let me know if you need any additional information.

Good Luck

My samsung GT-E2220 is not charging and wont switch on or off what can the problem be

Hi,
It could be due to many reason, such as,
1. Battery completely drained.
2. Charging port is not working.
3. Mobile Operating System Problem.
4. Charger not providing the right voltage to charge the phone. and many more....

Remove the batter and clean the charging plates with some cloth, now put it in and connect the charge and leave it for 30 minutes if you still can switch it on, replace the battery and check if the problem is hardware of operating system related.

Cheers!

How to charge battery from system

he electrical system in an automobile is said to be a 12 volt system, but this is slightly misleading. The charging system in most cars will generally produce a voltage between 13.5 and 14.4 volts while the engine is running. It has to generate more voltage than the battery's rated voltage to overcome the internal resistance of the battery. This may seem strange, but the current needed to recharge the battery would not flow at all if the charging system's output voltage was the same as the battery voltage. A greater difference of potential (voltage) between the battery's voltage and the alternator's output voltage will provide a faster charging rate.
As long as the engine is running, all of the power for the accessories is delivered by the alternator. The battery is actually a load on the charging system. The only time that the battery would supply power with the engine running is when the current capacity of the alternator is exceeded or when engine is at a very low idle.
