My MP4 Player is a Chinese one.When I turned it on when i bought it worked well.but after adding some music I turned it off. But now it won't start when i turn it on.The welcome screen appears and nothing happens.Pressing the reset button doesn't fix the problem.
The firmware has most likely been corrupted, In order to solve the problem it is necessary to obtain a firmware upgrade program (for PC) and the correct firmware from the manufacture. So you need to know the brand and model number. This may present a problem if it turns out to be a clone. Good Luck.
Be warned incorrect firmware and/or installation procedure will render the device useless !! Firmware installation is not recommend, only try this at last resort after trying every thing else when you are ready to pitch it flying to the trashcan.
If it is still under warranty don't touch it !!! Attempting firmware installation will void warranty!!
It is possible there is a problem with the battery as well.

Hi, try formatting the player and switch on without music and see what happens the if ok re add 2 mp3's to check if it works fine then re add music
