I have yellow engine warning light on 2003 nissan almera tino.had cam sensor replaced;still comes on.any reported simlar problems

I have not used my nissan micra 2003 for 7 months it has been stored in the garage but the engine has been started on a weekly basis but today the warning engine light has come on, the car has only done 2300 miles, SHOULD I BE WORRIED or is it because the battery has been disconnected in between starting the engine so it didnt drain the battery while it was standing in the garage unused, this has happened the day before i take it for a mot.....

Re: Nissen Micra E 04. After a cold start, a yellow light, look like an engine came on. No different to the handling of the car, what is the Yellow light for? I have driven with the light on for a week now, nothing seem amissed.

When you replace a speed sensor, the light should turn itself off after driving it. If it does not go off, than there is another problem.

Have replaced the battery on a nissan almera tino and now it won't start. It turns over OK but will not fire.
I changed the battery as it was struggling to start over a few days and then died completely after being left over a weekend. After the replacement all electrics worked but the engine wouldn't turn over, it just clicked. There was no immobiliser warning or messages on the screen. I tried a few of the things on this forum but it turned out to be a broken battery earth cable where it attaches to the gearbox under the car. I removed the cable (easier with the battery tray removed) then had a new lug attached to the end. Total cost 1.50. phew!

Car will not move
did you replace the MAF mass airflow sensor ? If you did not, clean it with electronics cleaner so it won't damage the sensor. that could be the cause. also the EGR vavle would cause a problem like that.
