my call log just deletes on it's own, and I can't figure it out. I will make a call then look back in the call log and it's gone. It will work for a while but then it just goes away. Please help.

Silly. Plain silly. The question is how many other things does he have installed on the phone? Any themes, excess profiles, large numbers of pictures, several third party applications... This will all contribute to system resources being depleted. If he has a factory default set up with less than 100 photos and zero video or music -- he is probably selling you a dream. If however the opposite is true, the phone may be dumping his call log. Mine DOES infact to do that when my memory is getting low since loading a couple of videos and a Bob Marley theme. I hate it. I am trying to retreive a call that I lost because of that exact thing. Think of it as being a kin to a Blue Screen of Death on a PC.

Tip: BlackBerry Losing Text Messages or Call Logs?
Are you having issues with your text messages vanishing without deleting them? Or maybe you notice your call log is suddenly empty? Both of these are symptoms of a full memory.
What can you do to avoid this? Clear out as much as you can from your BlackBerry.
Move pictures, ringtones, music, and videos to your microSD card if you have one. You can even set your camera to save pictures there by default.
Delete programs you do not use. I often download a free trial

or try out freeware that I discover I don't need or like. I often forget about these programs which are taking up my memory. Make sure to remove them either using Desktop Manager's Application Loader or under Options, Advanced Options, Applications.
Keep your log clear. The BlackBerry keeps a log for trouble shooting. Just hold down the alt key and type lglg from the homescreen. Once the log comes up go into the menu and select clear. Make sure to close the log when you are done.
See what programs are open. This is also a great help on the battery. From the home screen hold the alt key and press the back button. You will get a banner of programs that are running. There will be some BlackBerry applications that are always running, such as phone, messages, and BlackBerry Messenger.
Clean out old e-mails, text messages, and call logs you don't need. I often accidentally save an e-mail or a text. I try to check my saved messages regularly and get rid of what I don't need, such as my flight info from a trip I took three months ago.
Check your themes. Do you have lots of themes installed on your BlackBerry? They take up memory. You may want to delete them in Options, Advanced Options, Applications.
Remove any media you are no longer using, such as old ringtones or mp3s that have worn out their welcome on your BlackBerry.
From your Desktop Manager use Application Loader to see what languages are loaded on your BlackBerry. You can remove any you don't need. Also consider removing any other the option applications that come your BlackBerry that you may not use, such as Password Keeper or BrickBreaker. If you don't use it, free up the space.
Try any or all of these as they fit for you. These steps helped me stop my vanishing text messages.

You guys are all stupid retards, Blackberries have a memory preservation system that deletes Logs and Text messages when memory is low, it just so happens you assume hes hiding stuff from you, dumb hoes.

I am a female and I can tell you that all three of my new blackberry phones delete the call logs and txt when my battery and or memory is dangerously low from time to time. Please do not go speculating that your future husband is doing anything behind your back based on uninformed strangers. Ask around, search around you will see that others have complained of similar problems on the net. Yes, be cautious but don't over do it, its the fastest way to make a mistake you might regret.

Well, Sorry to say this but i believe he makes some phone calls that he dont want u to see so what i m thinking is that he is lying to you cuz there is no way a phone deletes its call log it self, no phone in the world.

listen girl, Pictures, Music, Applications, and games take up space in cellphones ( pdas, Blackberries, smart phones, etc). This space gets full and wont allow u to put no more music or take pictures or none of this, this shouldnt be a reason to alter the call log since the call log has a certain amount of calls that can be stored, Specially black berries can save hundres of recent calls so it is a good thing in case u need to get a number u dialed past days, even weeks, so i just think that he is hiding stuff from u, have him leave u the phone for a weekend to see what he says, dont warn him that u are gonnna keep if for a couple days, just keep it, if he says no they u know wuz up, he can tell his boss that he left it at a friends out of town and that shouldnt be a problem, so yea, :)

well, i dont know, he tells u to call AT&T but even if u call they wont give u no information. he is a big lier, thats wuz up

Call log deleted

It is because your phone is out of memory. You need to buy a memory card and move you pictures, ringtones, and music onto that and then it will stop doing that.

My Blackberry delete my texts and call logs automatically. Please

the trouble is that you have used all of the memory on your phone to check it go to the little tool symbol that looks like a wrench and then go to status check to see how much free files you have if it says zero you will need to delete some unwanted files most of the time its if you have a lot of ringtone or music but you can also get a memory card after you selete some files turn the phone off and take the battery out and replace it repeat the steps to see how much free files you have then

Hello - my call log and texts aren't showing on my blackberry curve 8310 - not sure if i need to change a setting?

The problem is you don't have enough free space, so the phone deletes the call log and text messages to make more room. You basically have to delete any applications you don't use. Go to this website to fix it:
