If your windows cant start up, I would recommend useing the cd what came with the laptop to restore the operateing system to factory defaults. this should fix your problem.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How to reset my commputer to the 1st day ?

Hi carloscarlos,

Use system restore

To use System Restore to restore Windows XP to a previous state, follow these steps:
  1. Log on to Windows as Administrator.
  2. Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click System Restore. System Restore starts.
  3. On the Welcome to System Restore page, click Restore my computer to an earlier time (if it is not already selected), and then click Next.
  4. On the Select a Restore Point page, click the most recent system restore point in the On this list, click a restore point list, and then click Next.

Note A System Restore message may appear that lists configuration changes that System Restore will make. Click OK.
  5. On the Confirm Restore Point Selection page, click Next. System Restore restores the previous Windows XP configuration, and then restarts the computer.
  6. Log on to the computer as Administrator. The System Restore Restoration Complete page is displayed.
  7. Click OK.

HP 750 desktop pc won't boot up...?

Hi,
Thank you for contacting Fixya. If its loading operating system then there is no problem with hard drive. Its absolutely a software problem. Please reinstall a fresh copy of Operating system i.e., Windows Xp / Vista whatever. and install the proper drivers for the system. Hopefully it should work. Again if same problem occur then you need to check the RAM. I mean is the system re-boots again and again hten clean the RAM slots or insert the RAM in other RAM slot. There may be some dust inside the slot. Try these steps. Hopefully it should work. Thank you......

Usb is not getting recognized.

Try refreshing the USB's. First, remove all USB's from your sytem (unplug them).

Click on START, SETTINGS, CONTROL PANEL, SYSTEM. Click on HARDWARE, DEVICE MANAGER. Expand the heading UNIVERSAL SERIAL BUS CONTROLLERS. Delete all the usb items. In that same window, go to the very top level (computer name-In the picture, my computer is called LUCY), right click, and click SCAN FOR HARDWARE CHANGES. Once done, try connecting your USB devices.
