Just stopped working... (by 2 users)

My Jensen remote, model number JER-323 was working for my TV, but not my VCR. Ever since I bought it it didn't work for my VCR, which is built into my TV. But up until a couple days ago, I never really bothered to fix it, and then when I looked online for solutions, it gave me solutions for a bunch of other problems with it, but they were all basically the same thing. ( Press and hold TV and the power button at the same time until the light lights up, and then press the power button a couple times while pointing it at the TV, and then press stop. ) So I tried that like, 29837286543527 times, and then it wouldn't even work on my TV anymore... :(
