My question is that i just bought this hometheater system and when i set the whole thing up, i turn it on and there is no display. It does play DVDs, but i dont see any dispaly on the system. I am trying to change my speaker layout, but since there is no display i cant see anything. Is that normal? Is there a setting somewhere that would turn on the device display in the front? I am lost, please help

I can see how that would make a difference if the display on the TV didn't work, but maybe i didnt explain the question correctly, my system plays DVDs without any issues, its the lcd display on the device it self that is completely blank or dead or whatever you want to call it. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

I had this problem with the Sony system that I have, and it was a video cable link from the reciever to the TV. I had to have a seperate Video cable from the reciever output to the back of the TV. Hope this helps.
