Question about JVC THD-50 System

1 Answer

No Display My question is that i just bought this hometheater system and when i set the whole thing up, i turn it on and there is no display. It does play DVDs, but i dont see any dispaly on the system. I am trying to change my speaker layout, but since there is no display i cant see anything. Is that normal? Is there a setting somewhere that would turn on the device display in the front? I am lost, please help

I can see how that would make a difference if the display on the TV didn't work, but maybe i didnt explain the question correctly, my system plays DVDs without any issues, its the lcd display on the device it self that is completely blank or dead or whatever you want to call it. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

I had this problem with the Sony system that I have, and it was a video cable link from the reciever to the TV. I had to have a seperate Video cable from the reciever output to the back of the TV. Hope this helps.

The disc is stuck and the display reads "No disc".

Ok one easy fix to this is to tilt the player while the system is on whilst constantly pressing the eject button. I once had to even turn the whole thing upside down then back and shake a little until the disk positioned itself properly to eject. good luck

Ok so i bought a play station 3 in iraq while i was deployed it is 220 and i bought a power converter since i got home and it turn on every thing works but it will not put out a signal for my tv neither...

  1. Make sure the HDMI cable is connected to the HDMI OUT port on the back of the PLAYSTATION 3 system. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable into the HDMI Input port of the TV or display monitor.
  2. While the PLAYSTATION 3 system is in standby mode (red light on the front of the system), hold down the touch-sensitive power button on the front of the system until the system goes into standby mode again . (So the light cycle would go from: red light --> green light --> then back to red light). This will ensure that you have held down the power button long enough to reset the Video Output Settings.
  3. Turn on the PLAYSTATION 3 system and once the system finishes powering up, the Video Output Settings will automatically reset to the standard resolution (or detect the current display output settings of your TV/monitor).

Kenwwod VR-615 - display disappears

Its becuase it is dirty inside, Unplug it. Take the case off of it. Get sum compressed air from a computer store or Walmart. Like 10 dollars. And just blow the whole thing out with that canned air. do it ever 3 months.. It should fix the problem for life!(:

Hometheater system doesn't power up

A Panasonic? Most likely it will need an output ic or a voltage ic. It could be just a stuck fan (rare). F61 is a voltage error code.

No Display

Well I think resetting your whole Xbox will fix it, the setup you have to do when you first bought it, go to your system blade and go into console settings and it would be somewhere in there to return your console to pre-bought settings and you will have to do them again, hope I helped.

On the front of the system, press and hold Clock button until the hour flashes. Then press the Digital tuning arrows for up or down. Watch the display for AM or PM. Stop on your hour. Press and hold the Clock button again til the minutes flash. Press the Digital Tuning arrows again for up or down. Immediately press Program Set button under the Digital Tuning arrows to set the program in. If you do not press Prog Set soon enough, you will have to do the whole thing all over.

You will need to ask the dealer to replace the display again I'm afraid. I had a friend that had a similar problem with their Nissan. They had problems with display and the CD 4 times. If you try and do it yourself, that will void the warranty. Good luck
