Update the software and check the LCD connector on the board.
Make sure you also check the LCD EMI filter. It's a small square silicon chip near the LCD connector.

Hp pavillion converted into windows 7 ultimate from windows vista and sound does not function. downloaded sound driver for windows 7 but does not work still. please help...

Hi,
Try 'roll back driver', follow these steps;
- Open Device Manger from the Windows 7 Control Panel.
- In Device Manager, locate the device that you want to roll back the driver for (her its sound driver). (Navigate through the hardware categories by clicking the > icon. You can find specific devices under these major hardware categories.)
- After finding the hardware you're rolling back the driver for, right click on the device's name or icon and click on Properties.
- In the Properties window for the device, click the Driver tab.
- On the Driver tab, click the Roll Back Driver button. (If the Roll Back Driver button is disabled, Windows 7 does not have a previous driver to roll back to so you won't be able to complete this process.)
- Click the Yes button to the "Are you sure you would like to roll back to the previously installed driver software?" question.
The previously installed driver will now be restored. You should see the Roll Back Driver button as disabled after the roll back is complete.
- Click the Close button at the bottom of the device properties screen.
- Click Yes on the System Settings Change dialog box that says "Your hardware settings have changed. You must restart your computer for these changes to take effect. Do you want to restart your computer now?"
DONE, Hope this helps,
Please rate if this solution was helpful, thanks!

The Acer Arcade Deluxe Webcam is not working, but the Acer Crystal Eye Webcam is still working fine. Please, how can I solve the problem with Arcade Webcam software? I believe it stops working after some...

You can do the following: Start your PC as an administrator > click Start or the Windows ball > Control Panel > Performance and Maintenance > System > Hardware > Device Manager > Scroll down to the device driver you wish to roll back > right-click on it and choose Properties > Click the Driver tab and then click Roll Back Driver. Note: Win7 ball > Control Panel > Device Manager. By rolling back the driver, your Arcade Deluxe Webcam should work like it used to.

Hello, First when I was on my laptop it suddenly turned to a black screen well after charging battery for many many hours I now only get a blank lit screen. Would you know my problem? Thanks

Your problem is likely between software and hardware. If you can get into the operating system, the better you perform a virus scan.
If not.
You have to do the detailed troubleshooting of your computer hardware, especially lcd screen, ram, hard drive and motherboard.Hopefully this can help you solve your problem thank you.

Im using HP 540 with windows 7 and my screen at the taskbar keeps on flickering.. pls help is this hardware or software problem.

it's not a software problem ... i think u can be able to see such sort of problems frequently while you are moving the lid... it may be the problem with with tour motherboard or lcd...u can check it by adjusting the lid angle ,if u can see the flickering it is the problem with your lcd...or else,if u are experiencing the problem, while the laptop is in idle state also...it is the problem with your motherboard... no need to worry dude.....this problem can be solved by refixing the connection between the lcd and motherboard...so contact your hp service center...

Nokia phone blinking

Hi
It can be a software or hardware issue. If it's a software issue, you will need to bring it to a cell phone shop that will flash your phone and that can solve the issue. If it's a hardware issue then you might need the replace the lcd on your phone or other parts and that can be quite expensive almost not worth it, better of buying a new phone on Ebay.

Hi. If the firmware update does not solve this, then it may be a hardware issue. Here are the steps to update the firmware on the remote.

1- Launch the software and log in to your account.

2- Click on 'Downloads' at the top of the screen.

3- Click 'Firmware' and follow the steps to update the firmware on the remote.

4- Update your remote.

Involuntary right click

Assuming this happens when you roll the trackball and don't click right? Seen this so many times.
Could be caused by:

IF Software Related:
Virus or Spyware taking focus of screen and cursor
Keylogger taking control of cursor
Other software running in background that is controlling screen refresh and cursor control.
Confused Drivers within Windows.

IF Hardware Related:
Sticky Right Click button

Fix: Process of elimination unfortunately. Remove all mouse hardware from Device Manager and setpoint. Start from scratch. (FYI: mouse won't work right at first reboot.. give it a sec to reinstall windows drivers operation will return to normal)

Best wishes

Touch screen problems

It seems to be a hardware problem. you can buy a LCD touch screen on Ebay and replace it, or take your phone to a sony center for the screen to be replaced. there´s no way to solve this problem with software updates or upgrades.
