Re: Battery Contact points coroded & need replacement
Haven't actually located a purchasing point for these battery contacts but have temporarily overcome the problem by use of aluminium foil which is a commonly known workaround.

Hi Andrew Smith, as you comment, the problem would be in the remote control
You can do a test to see if the remote control is broadcasting
You put the camera of your cell phone focusing on the emitter of the remote control, press any key on the remote and through the camera you will see that the emitting LED turns on (this happens through the cameras of the cell phones detect infrared rays, our view can not do it directly)
With this method you can check if they are emitting each key of the remote control
If you don't emit, you can try cleaning the internal contacts
Try to carefully disassemble the remote control
Separate the plate and the rubber template from the keys, clean the latter with some neutral soap, removing the grease that forms in the contact area, on the other hand, clean the plate with a cloth dampened with a glass cleaner, NO USE ALCOHOL in any case, let all parts dry and reassemble
Take the test and comment
Greetings Franco Dosil

You're right! It's receiving sensor problem with your PCB. Only repairman who knows electronic tech could only repair. I could say the cost of repair in Indian Rupees IRS.850/- maximum. Hope it's helpful?
I agree with ceocass, however if you find that the contacts are clean and you have made certain that the charging cradle is plugged in you may simply need to replace the battery.

Try replacing the battery but if it wont work you need to replace the remote control itself, but for the main time you can operate the unit by pressing the emergency switch button to operate the unit manually.
