Question about Jazz DV-179 Digital Camera
YES to the lens focus ring ... check it often.
Also, low light is a no-no unless close up with the flash (like 10 ft. max). Try test photos on the tripod with focus ring set to the little mountain outside to verify camers is OK.
I have dropped mine, and the lense/focus ring got 'poped' out of position. I was able to shake it back in place (definately NOT recommended, I think I was lucky!) so the internal hold-down spring put the internal lense/focus/sensor assembly back in position. If yours is so challenged, send to Jazz repair. luck! G-M

Just returned from trip to Cuba..most photos taken outside and few inside...all photos were exc. or good except the ones I used with the telephoto feature. Had I left it on the W feature, these photos would have been ok...also make sure the focus ring lens adj. is not on the macro imaging feature..found that focus ring lens setting sometimes moved when I put the camera into its case
