Re: my webcam does not detect in my computer anymore.
Try to plugg it into a different USB port, if that dont work then go back to the place where u bought it, tell em u got it for christmas so thats why u dont have a receipt and u ll get a new webcam cuz that one u have is internally damaged.

Try to check under device manager if the webcam attached is detected. To view device manager: right click on My computer > Manage > Device Manager. Verify if the webcam is detected. if you found error then try to update driver using cd driver.
With webcams you have to install the SW before connecting the webcam. If not done so, then uninstall the webcam drivers and Sw. Reboot the PC. and install the SW from the CD. Then connect the webcam Logitech webcams take a long time to get detected. Wait till it is detected. Then run the camers prog and you are on. To use the camera with an IM, run the Options->video of the Im and specify the webcam in it as default and you will be visible to the other party.
Did you try the webcam program in the windows control panel? It will detect many webcams that other webcam programs have trouble with. Also, some cam programs need you to select your cam from a long list. All the major IM programs should have no trouble with a Logitech webcam.
