Question about Gateway FPD2275W LCD Monitor
17' p205 s7802 on 3rd laptop since 1/10/08 Best Buy in Omaha says it is a known problem but they cant fix just keep giving me new pcs?????
It is a "CPU THERMAL SHUTDOWN"
Make sure the CPU fan is working. If there are any other fans on the motherboard, make sure they are working.
Make sure the case fan(s) are working and that there is no obstruction to the airflow into and out of the case.
Your CPU fan may be broken and you will need to buy another one.
