It is a "CPU THERMAL SHUTDOWN"

Make sure the CPU fan is working. If there are any other fans on the motherboard, make sure they are working.
Make sure the case fan(s) are working and that there is no obstruction to the airflow into and out of the case.
Your CPU fan may be broken and you will need to buy another one.

After turn on the computer during the startup press F8 and choose "last know known good configuration" and test. If issue persist please provide more information like when issue happened have you installed any software or hardware prior to the incident?

    Good Luck

Right click on My Computer and select properties.
    Click Advanced tab.
Click Settings under Startup and Recovery.
Under System Failure uncheck Automatically Restart.
    Click OK.
This won't cure your problem, as instead of restarting you'll likely get a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) instead, but the information displayed will allow you to trace your problem, or post it here!
If you still get the system rebooting and there is no BSOD then it's likely that your processor is overheating or your PSU is faulty. Try checking the system health in the BIOS for the processor or system temperature. You'd like it to be less than 50d Celcius, anything over 75d is running dangerous.

    Good Luck

My Hewitt Packard flat screen monitor keeps shutting off, it will come back on then shut off again. The green light stays on.

my HP w1907 flat screen keeps shutting off after playing a game, but does it frequently when changing browsers also. The blue lite stays on, if I click and return it back on blue the monitor opens for one second.
Also I can't return the screen resolution back to its original setting, which is 1440x900 because any browser home page has a 4"white space on both sides of the monitor. I can't hit my auto selectbutton because that causes the problem. I spent $60.00 for tech support but no help on fixing the problem. One tech directed to buy hardware helper, that was about$30.00! I just keeps directing me to my original chipset setting which I told the tech that's where my problem started! My daily important update keeps popping up with it,so where's the HP support when you paid for it? Problem still not resolved. If the Display shuts down after you see a BenQ logo at startup but power LED remains on,the problem is with the Invertor board.Transistors 2SC5707 are known to be defective with other related components. You can try replacing if u are technically able and willing.
