Question about Whirlpool RF368 Electric Kitchen Range
When changing a non working bulb in the oven I noticed the filament seemed ok so tried it in a lamp and it worked. I put it back in the oven and it came on. however when I put the protective cover back on it stops working. I tried this with the new bulb and the old bulb and it repeated every time. Works fine until the protective cover goes back on then stops working all together. What is the issue? Is it ok to use without the cover?
Sure you can use with out back cover, sounds as if connection inside socket is loose( not making contact with bottom of light bulb securely
