BlackBerry 8700g

I dropped my BlackBerry 8700g. The screen went blank. I switched it off and tried to switch on again, but no luck. I tried a soft reset (Alt+Cap+Del), but again no luck. I removed and re-inserted the battery; the LED lights up RED for a few seconds and then goes off. Still it does not switch on. I tried a hard reset; again still does not switch on. If I do a soft reset, the LED comes on for a few seconds and then goes off. Any assistance would be appreciated

It seems like its broke and dropping is not under manufacturers warranty either.
