Question about Tomtom 1D00.081 GPS Receiver
I have two SD cards and when I install either one it gives me a screen showing the card coming back out with a big red X on it. Is there a special SD card that has to be used with the TomTom? I have exactly the same problem. I have just downloaded a map, and while the device says it is in there the screen just shows the card coming out with a big red cross through it.
Did you try taking out and reinserting the cards?
Did you make sure that the cards are not write protected?
If you did the above, then may I suggest that you update your unit to the latest firmware.
You can also try a master reset on the unit to see if it helps.
Please let me know how it goes.
