Since the last post I now have the usb cable and have used this site to open my phone to pc. as a mass storage device. The problem is it only lets me access what I have on my card which I could do before with my card reader. But it does not let me have access to the files in my phone that let me transfer the songs I wish to store as ringtones. How do I get access to the ringtones file in my phone?

Is this phone is equipped with a usb cable. If not you need to get one and its software will be with this. You can upload files and music mp3 through the usb data cable

How can I retrieve my caller tunes from iCloud after a restore on a(n) iPhone 6 plus?

I have read of others having same problem of missing tones after restore or upgrade. Fwiw - I always save backups of everything on my iphone to my PC using iTunes and only use iCloud as my secondary backup. Using iTunes allows selection of each category including "tones". Even though the tones were restored, I found that each contact was reset back to default. I had to go back to each contact, select "edit" and then select "ringtone" which brought up the listing of available tones and all my custom tones were at the top of the list.

if you purchased ringtones or downloaded free ring tones from the iTunes Store and they are missing, you should be able to go to the iTunes Store on your iPhone, select "more" then select "purchases" and re-download them, they may only be listed under the music category. Although I also have heard some people are missing ring tones from their purchases. In this case, you will need to email or call apple customer service.

if all this fails, your can use iTunes or any other music editor to make your own ring tones. Basically you save a copy of the song in m4a format, edit the start and stop times to be 30 sec max play time and save the clip as an .m4r file. You can google the procedure, it's fairly easy. In iTunes, save the clip with a new title then go to the actual file location on the hard drive and simply change the file extension to m4r, then add the file to iTunes and it will show up under "tones", repeat as desired then you can sync the tones.

without iTunes, you need to use an app to make ring tones on your iPhone - Apple has not yet provided this functionality.

I bought a ring tone from "itsjustsomerandomstore"

Your Nokia C2-01 mobile phone comes with a USB cable, all you have to do is connect your pc to your phone and click on mass storage device on your phone, you now go to the original folder u saved the downloaded song on your computer and simply copy and paste it on the music folder of your phone or wherever you want to save it on your phone.
That should do it But please be free to contact me for more help.
Thanks

I have purchased a mobile phone LG GS290 I need to connect the phone to the lap top to down load music to change my ring tone could you please tell me how to do this

Hi.
I have to download a software: http://www.lg.com/uk/support/mc-support/mobile-phone-support.jsp Click Download and the just follow the instructions there. After install you have to connect the phone to the PC by an USB cable.
After you download the file you want to use as a ringtone click on it, the music player will open, then click on the top left icon (the icon it seems like a page with 3 lines on it) and the scroll down to "use as" and click ring tone.
Also you can download the user manual using the software above.
Please don't forget to vote me.

No ringing tone while getting call from somebody also when I goto setting to change ring tone I can not play any of tones and I ca not close the window as well and I have to restart manually .

Possible that there are errors in your software. so remove the battery and memory card. scan your memory card for virus or corrupt files. If not format the card. Now reset and start the phone , if there is no change in your tone settings, the the software needs to be reinstalled.
Please make sure that a recently downloaded music file or ring-tone has caused this breakdown , if so remove the file and try once again.

I download musics on Motorola. i want to use musics download as my ring tone. how? i need steps to use music downloads as ring tone

Go onto the music download and click on it then before playing it look at the options they'll either be "set as" or settings. Go on settings or set as and set it as ring tone. If this doesn't work or them options don't appear go onto your main menu and go on either settings or if your phone has one a ring tone setting. Then go onto sound settings. Then click on it and on there should be your downloaded music NOTE: Make sure it's on your phone not stored on your memory card.
Hope I helped Dr Reed

Transfering Ring Tones between two samsung rants from sprint

Try using the send tool. Have you paired them? Pair them, and then while selecting the ring tone, you should see something like options or something. Open that, and see if there is a send button, or a send tool. From here somewhere you should be able to select bluetooth. Please rate, and if not, reply so I may further assist you.

My 2 gig wont work in my lg cu920

No, most of it has to do with the formatting of the memory card.  My suggestion woud be to transfer everything to you computer, then format the card using the phone.  Then copy the information into the folders on the memory card.  Please not as far as ring tones go, ring tones will only work on the phone that was used to download them.  This is due to digital rights management information embedded in the ringtone.
