Question about Philips GoGear HDD6330 MP3 Player
Hello! Please, could you help me? I have a problem with my MP3 player - my computer doesn't recognize it, always in troubleshooting there has been writen - "Code 10", "Cannot start". What I should do?
Look for a IRQ conflict... My one XP box will not recognize it due to being a media player machine with a external HD installed via USB... NOW GO DUH... but my older box which is simply XP will... Unplug any devices such as external HD, Mouse, Keyboard... all the USB's ... yes I'm sorry, till u find the rite combo... I found on my media player XP machine it was the external HD that had the conflict... once unplugged, HDD6330 was recognized and could do anything with it... I finally had time to go in and reconfg some of the irq settings and now everything works great for me. It was a simple fact that both the external HD and HDD6330 were wanting to use the same IRQ address... once resolved.. now they all play great in the same sand box... have fun syncing...

First, try getting the new version of the device manager from the Philips website.If that doesn't work, try repairing the device (warning: this will delete all songs from your GoGear, so you will have to re-add them again).
1) Back up all files on the GoGear
2) Open up Philips Device Manager (Start --> All Programs --> Philips)
3) Click on the Repair Tab, and look for a msg that says connect the player while holding the volume + button
4) Disconnect the GoGear from the computer and turn the GoGear off - hold in the volume + button and continue to hold it as you reconnect the GoGear to the computer; after holding the volume + button for up to 20 or 30 seconds, a window will open up saying that your device is being repaired (now you can let go of the volume + button); after the repair is successfully complete, your GoGear will be good as new
