Acer Aspire 7220 crystal eye webcam

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM WITH WIN VISTA...ACER WORKED FINE WITH FACTORY SETTINGS..WHEN I FORMATED MY PC I INTALLED ALL LATEST DRIVERS FROM ACER WEBSITE AND THE CAMERA IS BLINKING CAUSING BLUE SCREEN TO WINDOWS(WITH BISON DRIVER) OTHER DRIVERS DON'T WORK AT ALL..ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE?I HAVE FORMATED MY PC 2-3 TIMES BY THE WAY...

i have the same problem but i can use it on instant messengers ect. just the program for some reason has just gone bad

Uninstall, then reinstall with latest drivers this will be where to start, is web cam attached permanantly? if not try it on another pc if it is try a usb web cam with your laptop. In other words try to do some trouble shooting to narrow down where we need to focus our attention to get you going again

hi i have and accer laptop with a build in accer crystal eye and web cam and the crystal eye wont work it sais a problem has stop it it has a vista window wich i think is crap how can i get this thing to work a new taptop and wont work its crap thank you for your junk

Try playing with your firewall settings. I could not see my Mom, but she could see me and her laptop has a Acer Crystal Eye webcam. She changed the setting on her firewall (zonealarm), and now it works.
