Playstation 3 on Sanyo Large Screen HD DT

I have a large screen SANYO HD TV. I have an HDMI DVD player hooked into it. I can access my HD DVDs through AV1. I also have a COMCAST DVR hooked into the TV. I recently purchased a Playstation 3 that I want to also hook into the TV - but I can't seem to figure out how to hook it in. Do I have to go through the DVR?

It would be better if you went diretly threw a video source on the TV. Rn the wires from the PS3 to the tv and then select the source that it is connected to

How do I hook up a playstation 3 to my mitsubishi medallion hd 1080

The best way to hook up is via the HDMI port. Connect a HDMI cable from the PS3's HDMI port the tv's HDMI port. As soon as you power the PS3 and tv on, you should see the initial setup screen. If it does not dispay press and hold the power button of the PS3 for about 5-10 seconds till you hear a couple of beeps and the initial setup screen. After that its just following on screen instrucions to choose your language, resolution(1080i for best quality), aspect ratio(16:9 works best for large screen tvs) etc., If there is some setting that you are unsure about as to what you should choose, let me know and I will help you with that.

Hi, take out the dvd player from port 1 and try the Wii in port 2 or 3 if the picture is good on the wii then you will need to get a 1 way scart lead for the DVD, not a fully populated one as these can cause interference between video inputs.

Hope this helps

Make sure DVD player and TV have HDMI ports at back to hook with HDMI cable.

DVI-HDMI not working with Sanyo Z2

HD comes as 720p and 1080p - the Sanyo will cope with 720 but not 1080 full HD - check the specs in the manual. You should have a DVD output setting for screen mode.

Sanyo DS19310 access video in without remote. Device is hooked to video in. How can I get it on the screen without the remote? Or, what is the best way to hook in a DVD player when I don't have the sanyo...

your setup is already good. your only problem is how to get in into video mode. use the menu button on your tv then select for Video/Game mode using channel menu button. there should be a solid blue screen with the word Game or Video displayed. please try. let me know if this doesnt work.
