The fact that the machine has broken down five times inside the warrenty i would suggest you contact trading standards as i feel you would have recall on this the fact that the warrenty run a few days ago does not really matter and could be argued as to the problem sound like a faulty diaphram switch this controls the water fill good luck

Bosch SHX33A05UC/36 dishwasher seems to run for hours to do a load of dishes. Checked water temperature, drain and hose and all is clean. The rinse and hold cycle times out correctly. Is it a timer or...

Hi,
No, the problem in not the unit, it is programed to run up to 3-3 1/2 hours for a single cycle. You can select quick wash to shorten this time down, but this is not a problem with the unit. It wants to assure you have clean dishes and hot enough water to complete the program.
In testing one a few days ago, I ran into this same problem, I reread the time charts and cycles and found this to be normal for this manufacture.
I hope this answered your question.

3 days ago machine started producing heavy amount of soap suds/foam in the spin cycle - happened once before but corrected self after one rinse cycle - no luck this time - called Fisher - they suggested...

it can take a lot of flushing the machine to remove the buildup of suds producing wash powder. I'd double check the wash powder, and try and put the machine into "no eco" mode, so it won't recirculate the water, this may help was out the suds on an empty cycle.

Just replaced the motor and pump, 3 weeks ago.

The FL error code means:
Flood Condition:
FL flashes if any overfill condition occurs. This condition occurs when excessive water in the tub causes the overfill switch to trip. The control must realize that the trip was due to an overfill condition instead of a suds lack condition in order for FL to be displayed

With an overfill condition, the beeper repeats a warning every 10 seconds with no time-out. The pump is cycled in drain mode for 30 seconds on, 30 seconds off until the overfill switch resets or power is discontinued to the unit.

Press STOP/CANCEL to clear the display.

This problem I see on these are the water pumps getting clogged with lint or other things, causing the pump not to pump all of the water out at times.

There is a check "valve" in the drain assembly that seems to sometimes cause problems with the FL error code. You can remove this piece, and might avoid changing the pump.

We bought a LG WD(M)-14341(6)FD washing machine approx 3 yrs ago and served us well. 2 weeks ago it developed a fault when the message FE flashed up on the LCD panel. We called a repair man in and he duly...

Hello,

The errors indicate the water valve or water sensor failure.
The washing machine have a water sensor to prevent overfilling. If you change the sensor, the washer will be work again.
FE error mean washer overfilling
PE error mean water sensor fault
I hope to be usefull !

My hec washing machine is not spinning and the water wont empty

Try turning the spin basket, something may have jammed itself inside the tub. You can remove the front kick panel and remove the tub to pump hose to clean it out.
If ok, you might have other problems like a broken belt in the back.

Washing machine overfills with water at start up after two years in use.

If the washing machine operates and cycles correctly, and only problem is overfills, then you have a bad water level switch or a bad membrane sensor (water level sensor).

If instead the machine get stuck on filling, and does not stop even if you advance timer, then the inlet valve is stuck on open, or the control board is faulty.

If machine is only two years old, call manufacturer and complain, even id limited warranty is one year, they may cover the part cost the same if they decide this was a factory defect (if it is inlet valve) coming up after two years.

Soap problems

Either:

1. not enough water gets into the dishwasher. open the dishwasher 3-4 times during cycle, you should see some (quite some) water at least once, if not - check water valve, water level float and water pressure.
2. the pump is clogged - there is water, the motor will run but no water is circulated. Check pump filters, check chopper and impeller.
3. motor in main pump is not working - could be caused by something stuck on the impeller or chopper or could be a problem with the motor itself or control board. Check if line voltage is coming to the motor during wash/rinse cycle.

Good luck,
