If you have the manual you can look at the back for troubleshooting. The problem or solution will depend on if the lights are blinking and what color they are. The manual can be found here. You will want the basic operations manual.

I just had a XJ- S41 projector in for repair because it wouldn't power on. The power light was red solid but the temp and lamp lights were blinking red. Apparently a reset was needed, but I was told it was an internal reset that had to be done be a technician. I'm dubious of this info as I've seen some reset procedures listed on this site that may have worked, but I can't confirm as I sent it in. It cost $45 plus shipping to have Casio do this reset and there was nothing wrong with the projector or any parts replaced. Casio wouldn't tell me exactly what reset procedure was done and they will not let you speak with a technician or even try and get more info for you. it wasn't able to go through cooldown mode. turn it on, power down and let it go through cooldown. does the light come on at all?

You have to disconnect power to reset it.
