Question about Admiral AW22 Top Load Washer
I put the load cicle and the temperature cicle and the normal size 6 and i only received a smal amount of water and the washing machine it look like is working but it not what show i do
Completely drain the unit by putting it in the final spin. Leave the clothes out... Put it to max load cold cycle. See if it fills to a high level as it should. If it does not, does the water run in quickly or trickle. Some machines just run water for a set time and if the valve is not letting water in as it should you will not get enough to wash right. Others have a pressure switch/pod in the area next to the timer control. You can see it if you take the control console apart from the unit. It will be round and have electrical wires, ususally two and a clear quarter inch hose coming off of it. The hose goes down and attaches to the tank. As water comes in it puts pressure on this pod causing it to turn off the water. There is an adjustment screw/bolt on it that should have locktight painted on it. You may be able to turn it in or out and get it to work again but chances are when they act up the should be replaced. Very rare to see these go out. Sometimes these are part of the load size adjustment control. Hose may be loose or cracked....let me know if you need more help.
