I have a sony a200, i want to fit an external flash for that.

The camera already has a hot shoe that will accommodate a Sony flash unit or a third-party flash unit designed for Sony cameras. You don't need anything else (other than the camera and the flash unit, of course).

I just bought a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W530, can I force the Flash?

if by forcing it you mean by making it use the flash on every shot you take just make sure you have the flash set to on. you might have alot of different options to choose from like night portrait or whatever. try and see if turning it to plain on helps. if not please clarify what you mean by force.

I bough new sony cyber shot DSC Tx 10 camera but could not found the forced flash option. there is only automatic flash and no flash. How can I found forced flash??

In Intelligent Auto mode that's true, you only have Auto or Off. If you want more options you should switch to Program mode. There you can select Auto, On, Slow sync, and Off.

When I use my flash my images have a circular (Half moon)shadow aross the bottom of my photo. Is the flash Sync off?

It's very unlikely that the flash sync could cause this. Take a look at this tip:

My Canon 550d is new and right out of the box on full auto indoor pics are dark. If I go to no flash mode they are much brighter. It's like the flash is out of sync. Is it the camera or me?

the flash only covers a certain range and the built in flash has quite a small range. so lets say its dark in the room and you take a shot of a person they probably look really bright but the background is pretty dark, thats pretty normal and its better not to use flash, now in the auto mode without flash it will be using a higher "ISO" number to get you brighter shots indoors. shots may look slightly grainer but it means its brighter and the 550d handles low light pretty well.

in auto mode you have no control over the ISO but put the camera into P mode which is basically auto but with access to more controls which you can override. now next to the shutter button there is an "ISO"button. experiment with the different numbered setting (100 being low 3200 being high) and you will see what I mean

Can picture be brighter? shooting inside buildings that aren't well lit with flash shots are darker than other cameras.. Bill darker than other

The flash on your camera probably isn't good for anything past 7 or 8 feet. If it has a flash setting for slow sync or slow shutter sync, you might try that.

I get a warning which says *Battery Exhausted*. I've replaced them but still get the warning.. Any idea whats wrong?

earlier i posted solution in similary problem. maybe help you this.

solution is good batteries, Ni-Mh or Lithium, rechargeable only not alkaline. but...problem is how long you watch pictures on lcd display or how much is flash in use. if always by shooting pics used flash that means that you can with best batteries 30, 20 or less pics shooted. and of course, if you connect camera with pc, how long is cam on? just transfer pics on pc and turn the camera off. the best solution is use the card reader for pics transfering.
if is flash off, it's possible to shot 120-150 pics with Ni-Mh. with lithium i don't know, maybe 500 pics. don't use camera lcd for analysing pics it's just there for short preview.
with alkaline batt., very low quality, i shot 30 pics without flash.

i shot also very good pics at night without flash. nikon coolpix L15 can do that but you must have more praxis. alkaline batteries shooting!
after 3 pictures on display is message: warning! the battery is exhausted. what you can do? turn the camera off. wait about 10 minutes. turn the camera on, you can shot 3 or 5 pictures and than turn your camera off again.
you can repeat this few times and you be lucky if you 30 pics captured:)
REMEMBER: all this goes without camera flash!!!
flash and every zooming use more battery power! and that was all magic:).

Flash out of sync

I just had mine fixed by nikon and it seems as though the problem would come back every now and then. my current solution is to switch over to Manual mode and turn AF assist, AF illumination, and ISO control to "ON" and then then shoot a few shots. Then switch metering to centerweight. take a few shots, it should work correctly, then switch back to AUTO. after that, the flash should fire as normal. I just received my body back about 2 weeks ago, so i hope my "bad batch" flash unit was replaced with a known good one. if not, i don't know what to do.

80000 snaps

I would think it implies the camera / flash / whatever is still functioning after that many operations (pictures)... of course everything wears out eventually, film, digital cameras and flash too. In this year I may hit 15,000 pictures with my FZ10... I expect the mechanical (zoom, doors, buttons & switches) will last several years. My vivitar 283 flash units may hit 2,000 flashes this year.
