HI,  I have the same problem with my camera.  It is quite annoying.  Unfortunately there is no way of taking longer videos.  This is because this model would find it very difficult to process files larger than a few megabytes.
hope this helps anyway

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

How do I increase the recording time on a Nikon Coolpixl830?

I do not own this camera. I will use common sense. Taking moves need lots of memory and lots of power. If you have a nearly full memory card or a weak battery your recording time will be limited. Taking movies in any camera runs the DSP (inside the camera) hard and fast. This causes excess heat. If the camera gets too hot it will stop taking movies. It is memory, power and temperature.

To take movie

You can take a movie up to 3 minutes. In shooting menus 1 or 2, go to "Menu", then "Continuous". Scroll down the Continuous screen to get to page 2, then select "Movie". Select your mode and click on that and you should be all set.

My kodak easy share m530 does not transfer all the pictures to the computer. HOw can I transfer th left out pictures?

You can use a USB to Digital Camera cable or take out the memorycard in your kodak easy share m530 and use a external/internal card reader on your computer. If a screen doesn't pop up within 20seconds, go to My Computer > Look for a picture(drive) that hasn't been there before. Usually it would be like Drive I/J/K or something like that. Good luck and rate.

I`ve deleted some movies by mistake, how do i recuperate them????

try first to see into the recycle bin there are still present ..if they are deleted from there too the only hope is to try a recovery from the Hdd program ...try this one ...if not ..try to download them again from this free site ..if they were just movies and not personal stuff
Here is a torrent site( http://thepiratebay.org/ ) with almost all kinda movies (free ) (you need to install utorrent program to download )
Here I will link a recovery program ..to try to see if they can be recovered first ..
http://www.recovermyfiles.com/hard-drive-data-recovery.php
you may also take the hdd from the computer and get to a computer professional if the movies are too important to risk ...By the way ..do not make any more copy/download/delete actions on the hdd to increase the chances to find something recoverable on it ..

Well technically, yes, however you need to sure the camera is compatible with the size of the card, a lot aren't!
so long as the card is compatible though, yes you will get increased recording time.
Double check with Fuji's support just incase!

good luck! =]

Continous burst mode

The Movie Mode takes very low resolution frames and can be re-played frame-by-frame.

Use the Continuous Mode for resolutions 2,048x1,536 or 1,600x1,200 or 640x480 get more details than movie.

For higher frame rates, use 1,600x1,200 and you can get quite good photos.
