Does water come out of the wand when you press the hot water button (top left)? Try ventilating and descaling the machine. More details about each can be easily found by googling.

No water comes out on ventilate. At first, the water was coming out very slowly, in drips. The doser or grind were not the problem, because even when I switched to Hot Water, it was still dripping. ...

Hi
It should take about 45 minutes to an hour to properly descale the machine. If it only took a couple of minutes you really didn't descale your machine. If you used the powder it has to disolve completly before descaling. The best way to descale is with the descaler in the tank. Turn on the machine and run about 8 ozs of water-descaler through the wand and then turn off the machine. Wait 10 minutes and repeatthe last procedure. Do this until the tank is empty. When done with the descaler, rinse out the tank and put fresh water in the tank and run the whole tank through the wand. Then fill the tank and your ready to go.

Gaggia Titanium - can't get it to move beyond 'Ventilate.' This started as a problem with extremely slow coffee output. We've been good about de-scaling but brought it into a repair place who cleaned it...

Select "Hot Water" and open the steam valve. Let it pump water out the steamer for awhile. It usually clears right away but may need to pump a lot of water to clear the error.

If you aren't able to get any water coming out the steam nozzle, you may need to prime the pump with the little squeezy tool they gave you with the machine - or you can use a turkey baster. Mainly you are trying to get water up into the pump to prime it (get the air out of the pump) so it can pump water instead air.

Machine says ventilate

Hi
That means the pump needs to be primed by running water through the wand. Push the water button. You will hear the pump change tone when it primes and the light or message will disappear. Also check the steam tip. This can get plugged and prevent the pump from priming.
Make sure that you water hardness is set on 4 in the menu. Descale more often than not enough and you machine will last a long time.

Will no ventilate,no hot water will not descale

HI
You have a calcified solenoid valve for you steam and hot water. It either case it has to be taken apart (which is not easy) or replaced. This is why we need to descale more often. Solenoids work on close tolerance and any scale on them will cause the to stick and not activate. Now they will not open to allow water to flow. So now you can't ventilate. Sorry

Hi,

When you try to get out water, can you get a full cup of water or just a half cup?

How often do you descale your machine?

Saeco Incanto -- no coffee coming out

After I posted this I decided to descale the machine again, even though I'd just done it a couple of weeks ago. After descaling and rinsing I tried running water through the brew group by pressing the pre-ground button, then holding down the big cup button. Still no water, but then I turned the little knob on the coffee dispenser counterclockwise, about half a turn. It worked! I rinsed it well, then made a cup of delicious espresso.
