Question about Ideazon World of Warcraft Keyset for Zboard System
I have a Vista home Premium with better then minimum requirements for the Zboard and WOW attachment keyset. Now when I have the WOW keyset in the Zboard I can type as a normal keyboard on the internet or in any other word programs etc.. but when I run World of Warcraft game program the keyboard does not work, I first tried installing from the disk it came with and for a second or two the icon on the bottom taskbar was green and said "world of warcraft: burning crusade" and then when I opened my WOW game it stopped working. So then I uninstalled the Zboard program, went online and installed the Vista 32 bit .exe and it could recognize the other keysets that came with the Zboard but could not recognize the WOW keyset. So now I am stumped at what to do.
Uninstall the zengine reboot then go to http://www.steelseries.com/downloads/#keyboards
Then download the newest version. The light probably wont work work but the keys should. Good luck

Hi, I recormend you take off your keyset and look at the top right hand corner. There should be 6 bronze pins. Get some the sharp and push all those pins up. then when you put your wow keyset back on making sure you push nice and hard at the area the pins are under on the keyset.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I had the same problems as you and found this answer on blizzard forums.
Steelseries took over from Ideazon and Ideazone no longer exist so none of their websites work any more.
First, the disc that comes with your ZBoard is now too old to use. The drivers on the disc were made by Ideazon before Steelseries took over, whereas the WotLK keyset was made afterwards. Steelseries seem to have completely reworked the drivers in the interim.
How to Fix
Step 1. Uninstall your ZBoard.
Step 2. Go to http://www.steelseries.com/downloads/#keyboards and DL the Z Engine.
Step 3. Make sure your ZBoard is plugged in with the standard keyset.
Step 4. Install the new Z Engine.
Step 5. Switch to your WotLK keyset.
Step 6. Run WoW.
I used this solution last night with some success.
Most of the gamer keys now work but some still don't work correctly such as, all the chat buttons default to say.
Hope this helps

select the USB zboard keyboard and download the relevant patch/software
I have done this, and my WoW ZBoard and all the special functions buttons work
The problem is, ideazon was bought out by steelseries, but this information was no included when you bought the board.
