No sound at all. Lost set up instruction. Want to install on new computer. any help will be appreciated.

Yes but don't I need to get some kind of sound first. I have no sound at all. I know it is in the set up but do not have the instructions and I am not an IT person. I just use the stuff.

I can hear through the headphones, but my mic does not work at all. I've tried all manner of connections. It worked FINE until I have to move and un-plugged it from my pc for the move. (Mic is NOT muted in pc) I don't have an instruction manual.

Sometimes you need to "burn in" your headphones. Used headphones usually produce a better sound than new ones. Simply let it play some music continuously. I usually burn in my headphones with some AM/FM static.
After a while, the sound should improve.
