Re: start up problem/error
Can you get to the desktop? If so you need to update the drivers for the chip on the motherboard. Once you do this see if this corrects the problem. This is a known item if not please respond back to me.

This could have been a RAM issue or a BIOS issue. Check your RAM first and reset your CMOS. If possible upgrade your BIOS version from the manufacturers website. but be very careful if you do so. a wrong move may spoil your Board completely.

You did not mentioned the whole problem. Anyway, try replacing the motherboard battery. If the problem remains then clean the contact points of the battery socket. In any case you have to enter the CMOS setting by pressing Del and adjust the Date and Time once.
