To rtemove the nut, hold the fan blades, and at the same time undo the securing nut clockwise as though you were tightening it, as it is a left hand thread, and vice versa for tighteming it again
Please rate mhy solution.
Thankyou..

I had a fan blade that clattered as if it was loose. When I eventually got it off I found it was buckled and it was the buckling that caused the noise, not because it was loose. It took a long time to get it off and I think the reason it gets stuck was that the spindle has a flange to which the back of the fan blade gets 'welded' with grease, oil etc. Apart from undoing the nut (clockwise not anti - I used a 10mm socket) the next step is to get the washer off. Prise it of with a flat bladed screwdriver. After that there is nothing holding the fan on - apart from the 'weld' mentioned above. The fan should spin freely on the spindle but won't because of the 'weld' I tried holding the spindle with a pair of pliers and bashing the fan with a hammer to try to free it but to no avail. What actually worked was turning the oven back on and getting up to speed. I then turned the oven off. The oven was warm but not hot at this stage. Next I clamped a pair of molegrips on the spindle then whilst holding the molegrips firm tried to turn the fan back and forth on the spindle by hand and it eventually moved. I think the warmth might have just 'melted' the weld. After that a bit of back and forth movement got the fan off, however for the last bit my wife was holding the motor to stop it moving as I rotated the fan off the spindle. Yes the oven was out at this stage, on a workmate with the power off.

Fitting a new heating element Neff U1721

You need to remove the element from inside the oven cavity, but it is a bit of a fiddle. Once you have removed the screws at both ends of the element you need to remove the fan blade to access the centre fixing screw. Once all srcews are remove you have to twist the element and pull forward to remove the wires from the hole on the left, then remove the wires and refit to new element.

Unable to remove the fan blade on the neff u1721 oven (too tight)

The nut is a left hand thread, so unscrew it clockwise to release it, hold fan blade as you are doing this. Tighten anti- clockwise.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

3rd blown element

no connection between lights on fan. problem is that bulbs these days are poor quality (but cheap)
it is common for these circular elements to go. usually last about 2 years. worth checking tho that fan is turning at right speed

Fan oven element - HEEELLLLPPPPP !

one element, but you will need to open the rear of the oven to access and remove the 3 screws holding the fan and with a little bit of push and shoving you will be able to remove the screw behind the fan be careful the screw does not get stuck behind the fan. Putting the new element in will require bending the securing bracket slightly but don't worry it will straighten when you replace the screw behind the fan; which is easier to replace than when you remove it

Can not remove element

Hi there. Dunno if you solved your problem but I had exactly the same. I did a bit of digging on this website and found the solution which worked. Basically, undo the three bolts holding the fan motor onto the back of the unit. This should allow enough play on the fan from the inside to wiggle (technical term) the bolt free and replace on the new element. Reposition and secure the motor. Hope this helps. Matt
