Question about Bosch 3.81 cu ft WFMC530 1UC Nexxt 500 Plus Series Washer
I just got my washer yesterday. It is installed on a slab and is level. I am trying to wash a small load of towels. I don't think the load is too large, I have placed the towels in the machine loosely and alternated large and small items. When the machine spins the vibrations are so great that it moves all over the laundry room, hitting other appliances. I have gone all the way down to the gently spin and the machine itself rotated a quarter turn before we stopped running it. I am ready to take this thing back and get a refund! Please, HELP!
I have the same problem with my new Bosch washer. It moves all over the place. It's scary. The manual says I can order floor bolts. This seems rediculous. How did you solve the problem??? The advice someone gave you. It sounds like it worked. Can you help me out by sharing that advice? Thank you very much.

Strange stuff in this forum. I can't even level my Bosch washer/dryer (500 plus series) really well until I get the longer drain hose and move the washer/dryer positions. Anyway......it's slightly off level but hasn't moved at all since I installed it with 6-8 washes per week. I think it's an amazing machine. Maybe I got a good one!
Tonight I washed a rug with some other stuff (single comforter) and it was too much to handle. Of course, in my old machine, I would have had the same problem.
I would suggest getting it as level as possible, mixing large items with small items, using 1/4 cup Tide HE powder (slightly rounded 1/4 cup), with a tiny bit of Downy (like 2 tbsp of the stuff at Walmart -- concentrated) and bleach --again.....not too much--like 1/4 cup--then let it do it's stuff!

If I may add to the postings of Xx and XX...
It would seem that there had been several similar issues with this particular model. Some of the problems apparently have been resolved with any of the following:
1. properly installed pedestal;
2. leveled correctly,
3. all shipping bolts must be removed prior to initial use. Leaving even just one would cause irreversible damage;
4. bearing lubrication or replacement;
5. verify struts are still good even if new, could have been damaged in transit;
6. verify that the rubber feet are not too soft (squeezed look) and tightened real good against the frames.
There were other concerns were with the drawers likewise.
What perhaps can be done:
a) voice it out to your dealer and demand a replacement;
b) if for some reason you will have difficulty, bring this to the attention of the manufacturer, Bosch.
Additionally, you may want to peruse what others have posted with regards to their problems. Posting in this site would be to your advantage since I was made to understand that a member is from the Bosch company and she helps to bring problems such as these to the attention of those concerned.
Hope this be of additional help. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards.
