Your model can playback Video/CD/CD-R/CD-RW/VCD/DVD-R in formats JPEG, Audio CD, MP3, WMA and DIVX. Not all codecs and formats are supported. Please review the manual for supported formats: Pioneer user manual
If your video file format is not supported then you will need to first convert to an accepted format and codec.
You may have to turn to Pioneer authorized service. They may have a special remote that can accomplish this, but it can cost a bundle. Samsung players are easily turned region-free with the normal remote.
Hi, iam having Pieneer XV-DV262 Model H/Theatre it was good working but recently Audio is not working, and i think DVD Player Audio Ampliplyayer is not working Hence pls us to get solution / we can get only same model DVD Player or this can be repairable?? Pls advise us!!

We had the same Pioneer DVD "tray lock" problem and I tried holding the button for 10 seconds and nothing happened. Tried 30 seconds, nothing happened. Tried almost a minute and nothing happened.
What worked: Not sure how long I held it the last time, but was holding it down while very very gently picking with my nails at the edge of the tray to try to pry it out a bit, and it opened! Now it seems to be working again.
