Hi,
You have to open the CPU case and clean it from dirt and dust, especially the CPU fan and heatsink, that causes the system to overheat and turn-off itself for protection....

Fixya me on this...

Hi cool,

Is your Computer keeps on recycling from booting and never finish to load your OS?

As far as i know you got a problem with you CPU, your computer processor is overheating inside that's why it keeps your PC recycling it's power.

Try to go to the BIOS setup menu, and go to the cpu temperature and you will that your PC is heating up.

Hope it helps & give you an exact reason.

Enjoy.

tnx

If problem is with drive, this may not work. If problem is with enclosure, you have to open the enclosure, extract the drive and get a HDD dock (usually around $15-$30) and access the drive that way.

I have many usb devices plugged into my computer, and the computer will not reboot , the power supply is 305 watts

you have a usb hub? try removing it, then rebooting computer- if it re-boots, may be too many usb devices. how many hds and optical (cd/dvd) devices are installed? you can get a 'powered' (wall-wart!) usb hub that doesn't rely on the comp. power supply to supply it. you may want to consider that!
good luck!

I need to know how to reboot my packard bell pc

Under the start menu there should be an option to shut down; restart; sleep. Use the restart option & it will start rebooting. If this does not work then close all your programs and hit ctrl+alt+del twice. This should start a reboot. Hope this helps.

Hp lap top will not reboot, restart nor retore

Sounds like a power supply issue.. Check the mother board for a light when the power is on (some mobos will not have this light). If there is a light, but it does not go on when the power is connected, replace your power supply.

Also, please post the model number of your computer.
