Hi, My drill(Dremel) just doesn't turn on. The sliding switch moves, but nothing happens. The switch moves losley too. It seems dead! I wasn't present when it broke. I do not know any details on what happened when it broke. It seems like no electricity goes through it. (?) Thanks, Mark

With the machine unplugged, check the motor brushes. They may be worn.

I have not had success doing any other repairs to the motor part of a Dremel. I do know they have a service center. Go here for more info:

When using my milwaukee m18 magnum drill halfway through drilling a hole the drill stopped as if the battery were dead

Dear Chris Kelliher, Hi,
According to your explanation, i guessed that the electronic circuit for driving the motor of drill, has gone off. In such a case, the motor is either driven under variable frequency drive system, Power transistor (FET, IGBT may be used) or SCR control circuit. under the cover of drill there is an electronic circuit, which may be damaged. It should be rectified by some technical expert. here is a link of services provider, https://www1.milwaukeetool.com/PartsAndService/Repair/Default.aspx?chrome=false
If you are unable to reach the service center just download the form from the link above an fill it and shipped your part to the related company with free shipment. If you can check it personally then check it. i will guide you whatever possible. Service Milwaukee Tool

How can i test if it's brushes or speed switch fault on Piggin Dremel

Problem sounds like the switch. Easy to replace and a lot cheaper than a new Dremel. One other thing comes to mind. Blow out the Dremel with compressed air. I could be to dusty and overheating.

VisionTek Radeon HD 5450 VHDCI doesn't seem to recognize monitors?

Try one monitor at a time, if you get nothing, reseat the card, if you get nothing try another port like display port or hdmi. If you get nothing take the card out and try the onboard graphics. IF you get something with the onboard, replace the card.

Starter wont engage

This may seem weird, but does the belt looked frayed to you?
I had a friend that had this problem, and it turned out the alt. was froze up. belt was just sliding, pully wasn't moving.
Also, have you tried "jumping" the starter to rule it out?
Is it getting enought gas? Could be a clogged fuel filter.

Need to remove club from steering wheel

Drill the keyhole and stick a slide hammer (dent removal tool) with a threaded bit. Once threaded bit is secured in the hole you just drilled, pull the slide hammer action (like pulling a dent out) so the key mechanism can come off and release the lock hold on the serrated teeth on the rod of the club.

If that's just too much to be able to happen, another solution could be found in Home Depot. Purchase a Dremel high speed tool with a cutting disc for metal. Cut through the rod and you're home free.

Broke small phillips screw head off the end of dremel

possible if you have a drill bit smaller than the screw and you can try drilling in reverse. Might be better just to replace the mandrel though.
