Question about Audio Players & Recorders
I've tried my laptop (running Vista) and my desktop (running XP) computers to no avail. When I plug it into to my USB, the player sees the computer because it starts up and the battery light shows it is charging. However, the new drive letter it should create, doesn't. I've tried rebooting, changing cords, changing ports, and of course, changing computers.
If it doesn't create then you probably need to manually add the device. sounds like your plug and play is toggled off for the device. plug it in and go to your control panel and click printers and other hardware. then on the left side menu you should see add hardware. go there and the wizard should detect the device as recently added but not installed and gives you the option to install. let me know if this helps. and good luck
