Hi..

As I have seen the full specs of your LCD monitor I don't have seen any aerial port or a socket features with your monitor it only supported by a DVI-D, VGA signal input, that's means that it has no aerial socket.

Hope it helps...

Enjoy

Pls. rate & hope to hear more from you soon..

tnx

How do I get freeview on Sony bravia TV 42w815bsu 42"

If this model number is what I am seeing then it has an aerial socket so needs an aerial and then setup to tune it in, perhaps you do not have or allowed an aerial then its broadband and one of the companies that have TV feeds.
If its not what I think and an analogue thing then you need a "box" to do this feeding a video audio signal via another cable.

You need to try and isolate the piece of equipment which is causing the problem.

You've already tried the aerial lead direct to the TV and this is OK.

Disconnect all scart leads and try the RF on its own.

Try the Aerial lead to video, then video to TV.

Try aerial direct to Sky box, then to TV.

Try just connecting the RF out from the Sky box to the TV (no aerial input), can you tune into a good channel 68 picture from the Sky box.

Then Try the VCR to the Sky box (no aerial input), see if you can tune into the VCR and Sky channel.
Hope that helps.......

Can I hook up a copying device to my LG 26LV2500

Such as a DVD recorder?
Yes, conventionally a recorder takes the feed from aerial or box befiore the TV but recording whatever you're watching can also be done mostly by using one of the Scart sockets usually on the back of a TV usually identified as Scart 1 AV in/out which should be connected to Scart In on a recorder.
If there are digital output sockets - and digital input sockets on a recorder - you'll get higher image and sound quality than you'll get from Scart.

No, you plug it in directly in the antenna socket at the rear of the tv.

You just need a special connector if you have the australian model, like in the picture above. Otherwise it just plugs in as explained in the user manual. If you need the manual

Maybe you have an aerial fault. Try playing a video, if that is OK suspect the aerial or tuner unit in the set.
Hope that helps.

LG LCD TV 37LP1D digital freeview tuning problems

Hi - I have the same problem. Also in Cornwall LG were not interested in helping because the TV was 3 1/2 years old. There was a possible fix in the end offered via LG at a cost of £180 + vat - a hardware update that might or might not work but I was not going to pay that so I now watch my LG 42 plasma via a £25 digi box from the CO OP. LG must have sold 1000's of these Tv's so when the digital switch starts in the more populated areas of the country I exect many more web postings.

I can't find the socket for the aerial cable on a sanyo 32'' lcd tv. the manual shows where all the pheripals go but cannot see where aerial goes.

The antenna socket is on the left side at the very bottom - in the back on the DP26-32648 model.
On the DP32649 it is near the bottom, with 3 inputs below it. So it is above the USB and 2 HDMI connections.

Can't get channels 4 and 5, think the problem is with the aerial socket or possibly the cable. The tv works fine in a different room on a different aerial. That aerial is identical to the other one.

If the TV is ok in the other room then the problem lies with your incoming signal. Check your connections. If you are on cable, then it could be a problem with the box. Can you use a scart connection from the box to the TV? If so try to connect up this way & if the problem is still the same then get your box checked.
