Hi, my PB6100 doesn't display image when connected to labtop, only total white display. when press the menu button the display still show total white. It can be turn on, the lamp is lighted up, but just can't display anything.
The projector needs to be turned on first, then connect it to the laptop. If the picture still does not show at that point, press the FN and the LCD keys on your laptop at the same time. This should work.

Press MENU button and ON-SCREEN MENU will appear. Press POINT LEFT/RIGHT buttons to move a red frame pointer to IMAGE ADJUST Menu icon. Press POINT DOWN button to move a red frame pointer to the item that you want to adjust. and then press SELECT button. The level of each item is displayed. If opposite means that you want to rotate the image or picture for projector mount in the ceiling.
KEYS location: (keys are located back side of the projector there is 2 keys 1 for menu and second is a joystick witch have 4 arrow keys and center press is a enter key)
Press MENU button to display the menu screen.
then use joystick UP and DOWN to select the OPTION menu. Press joystick for ENTER to display the option screen. Then press joystick UP and DOWN to select INSTALLATION.
Then press joystick RIGHT and LEFT to select your required image rotation there is four type of rotations.
1. FRONT DESK
3.REAR DESK (A translucent screen is required for rear projection)
4.REAR CEILING (A translucent screen is required for rear projection)
If opposite means negative to positive so there is no any setting in your projector witch is chang your picture or imagepositive to negative.
Use the remote to go into the menu and change the screen position. There are 4 to choose from, flip left, flip right, flip upside down left, flip upside down right. It may be tricky to navigae the menu backward though.
Factory Menu 1. How to enter factory menu: 2. Hold press "UP" button until the "Lamp hours info." OSD display on bottom-right of screen. Press keypad <Power> and <Blank> key simultaneously again, then enter Factory menu. enter in fan menu and increse the speed of fans. firstname.lastname@example.org -> had to use the already written text...:P
3. with the keypad look for the menu that says <more options> on the bottom of the osd. once you are there go for the option HARD RESET.
4: also look for the option where its says SOFT RESET. its on other tab ... shut down the projector. take the power cord off the 6100. wait for about 10 seconds. plug it again and there you go...it works again.!!
