NEC fs 5197 tv blank screen

hello, i have a NEC fs 5197 TV that has sound, but no picture. it shows all the menu displays, but no channels, or even DVDs will show.

ApprenticeI cannot assist but do you please have an owners manual for the FS 5197. I'm not sure if its against this sites "rules" but little fingers have tuned the menu's instructions into Arabic. Contact me directly at factotum.inter.alia@gmail.com. Thanks

Further to my last response I now have a manual, if you wish to contact me directly maybe it could be your setup options in the menu of the set, not enough information is supplied as to whether or not this suddenly occurred, or human intervention with the tv set resulted in the described problem.
