Acer aspire 5720z audio video problem

By johnI on Feb 10, 2008

" "
when playing audio or video (includes dvds) every couple of minutes the audio will distort and after about 20 seconds return to normal in the case of video it slows down to few frames per second and then in approx same as the audio will resume normal speed. this problem also seems to affect the XP system sounds as well. I switched from VISTA to XP and used the drivers on the US web site.

Hi I had this problems too but I think it's caused by the configuration of the Realtek codec (be sure there isn't any option of dolby activated) I made it and It appear to work fine

Sorry for my English

I'd recommend you go back to the manufacturing page, and get the latest xp drivers. Seems you're working on a corrupted A/V drive. Check your system settings too, for configuation and acceleration.

Download Acer Aspire 5720Z Windows XP Drivers from http://www.focusoft.biz/2009/01/06/download-acer-aspire-5720z-windows-xp-drivers

I checked all the files and couldn’t find any threat in them, not even false positive.
