Can this HP Pavilion DV9000 laptop adapter fit for Compaq Presario V3000 laptop? I doult that HP Pavilion DV9000 laptop adapter on website:http://www.laptopbatteryshop.ca/hp-pavilion-dv9000-ac-adapter.htm can fit Compaq Presario V3000 laptop.

The pins appear to be the same size, I have used these adapters for some time, Most of the "V" series and "DV" series share the same power adapters. In fact the adapters are the same voltages, which is 18.5-19.5 volts.

Have a look at the label on the bottom of the V3000 laptop and check the voltage and amps power rating of the laptop.
If the DV9000 adapter has the same voltage and current rating (amps) or higher amp rating then it is suitable for the V3000 laptop, provided the power plug fits the V3000 power socket.
