Typically with the Motorla Krzr K1 you can't do that, usually only T Mobile software has it. I have verizon too and I can't do special sounds with it. Try going to settings<sound settings < alert sounds< text message < tone and then choose the sound you want to play!
are you trying to download music via cell phone carrier or pc????? by pc (it much easier and quicker) connect usb cable to krzr.....go to my computer...u should see the drive....copy files from pc to the cell phone.......and now you just listen to them or make a ringtone....
The V3 is deceiving because it has many different software versions. If you power the phone off, and then press and hold the * and # keys while pressing the power button, it should come up with a black screen with white letters telling you the bootloader version. I bet if you compare the two, the bootloader will be different.
There is the V3i, V3a, V3m, V3r, V3re, V3c etc.
I've heard of many of the new razors not being able to use MP3's as ring tones.
please rate as at least helpful as there is no FixYa solution for your problem.
first of all u dont need a memory card. um if u watnto set a ringtone follow these instructions 1.go to your menu 2. go to settings 3. go to ring styles 4.go down to the second row and hit enter 5. then pick what u want to set. when u find it hit ok and then scroll down till u find the song/ringtone u were looking for then hit ok. and that should do it.
did the tones come pre installed on the phone? why dont you try using mp3 ring tones? download mp3 songs on your phone, then you can set them as ring tones. they work much beter than ordinary ring tones
