My blank screen, red flashing light projection tv

Pls check that model number........the problem description does not match that of a 1999 crt proj tv.........I believe yours is a newer lcd projection around 4 or 5 yr old?? Lamp light flashing on any brand is indicative of the lamp not lighting . The lamp is the most likely cause,but the ballast board can cause this as well..................you should see an access door refer to owner book of the correct model and you can replace yourself...........it may cost around $200 and avaiolable at encompass parts .com Hitach distributor

Its possible that the lamp was damaged in transit or perhaps it was just faulty from the word go, if you have only just purchased the tv unit i recommend getting in contact with the retailer as the tv should have a working lamp upon purchase. I hope this helps you. Good luck.

You have contamiated fluild in red tube remove old projection fluild and put in New this should then give you a clear picture. call Mats for projection fluild 1-800-628-1118

Thats the error for lamp driver error. Which means the Ballast is most likely defective. You can get the replacement ballast for your model at the following link which comes with installation instructions.

Try unplugging for 36 hours. I had the same problem but with no sound and picture

turn on tv, after a few minutes picture goes black, but still have sound. red light blinks 5 times,turn set off same thing happens when you turn set back on. some times it want do it for 10 min.

i have had the same problem.....
my problem was gone after that i cleaned the tv and removed all the dust and **** behind the tv.....

No easy solution = if a power board was changed, it may be defective.....do you have a warranty on that repair ??

you need 4 caps in you dm module they are 1000 mf @35volts
