Question about Logitech QuickCam Express Web Camera
I installed an effect program for webcams calledcalled webcamMax, and i uninstalled it. Now my camera wont work when i try to use it with a messenger like msn, aim, yahoo, or stickam. I think it may have made it a default webcam program or somthing, but eigther way I would not know how to fix this, is there a solution to get it running normal again?
I can still turn on the camera through the logitech quickcam program
There's a few things you can do (i know about webcammax).
Download, install, and run Ccleaner from www.ccleaner.com, this will remove residual files left behind. After you install ccleaner, choose "tools" then choose the webcammax software.
If that doesn't work:
Uninstall the logitech software itself (webcammax creates a virtual cam driver and embeds itself).
Restore windows to a previous date from installing webcammax. I know this can be a b*tch, but it may be the only way to do it.
Run ccleaner in normal mode after trying each of these.
I happen to be on Stickam right now. www.stickam.com/profile/nitrotrike. If you want, find me, and I can talk you through it live.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
