Question about ViewSonic VX900 19" LCD Monitor
My viewsonic lcd flat screen monitor was really really dim, so i took it apart and i found that one of the fuses on the backlight inverter is blown. Would that make my whole monitor really dim? if i just replace the fuse would that fix it or should i replace the lamps themselves. I'm hesitant to do that cuz i don't want to get nasty chemicals all over the place
Just replacing the fuse should help. There are two of them on the inverter board. depending on which one is blown will give you 2 different issues. One will cause the screen to flash content perfectly for two seconds and then drop out. the other will be really dark if can see any picture at all,
