Black rectangle

Suddenly today, this receiver projects a black rectangle in the middle of the picture. It doesn't affect regular TV but blocks (partially) the picture with the DVD player and TIVO. I've done the set-up again. I've eliminated the DVD player as a cause and the TV so it must be the receiver.
